So...

I'm now the proud mother of a brilliant little girl named Emily.

I think this was the best Christmas present EVER.

Exactly.

Also she needs to learn how to be a little kid.

I love her so much.

Congratulations!

My sister was named Emily, and she was one of the sweetest people I ever knew. I hope your Emily is like her.

You're a lucky, lucky woman! Many congrats!

...reminds me I've gotta call my mom tonight, get my sis on the phone. I'll let you know what they have to say about you-know-what.

Thank you!

And thank you so much for this. It'll do her a lot of good to have friends her own age.

The first of the Nephilim children we rescued, the one that man was trying to sell over the journals? We have three more from the camp in Oklahoma, though the rest are being taken care of, but... She's so sweet, and so bright, and just... god, Gwen, she thinks that people will stop talking to her or being nice to her when they find out she's a Naphil. She thought we'd take her back when we found out she wasn't a "little girl".

Break your heart, she will, but she's just opening up and-- we took her to the ball tonight, and she met a young man with a little sister her age. He taught her to dance, and we're going to set up a play date for them. And I think I might get her dance lessons, she really seemed to like dancing.

Oh, good. I'm so glad to hear that, Donna. I'll have to meet her some time when everything isn't falling down on Torchwood's collective head. :)
