There's a lot more at work here than what you've gathered from News Corp.

We're not really a society based on liberty, autonomy and any other value structure taught to primary schoolers.

So please, don't be disillusioned.

Is this how you guys justify the fighting to yourselves? Sure, ignore all those foreigners crying out with indignation, they don't really understand what's going on over here. Hell, they're all probably just a bunch of primary schoolers anyway (when in fact we are all grown up adults capable of free-thinking).

I've watched news about Israeli soldiers systematically and calmly shooting down civilians. I've heard stories of children innocently killed. When Lusitania was torpedoed and innocent children died, America entered World War I to help end it. So how can their deaths now justify this ongoing mad killing spree? What justifies the world's inability to stop the fighting?

So yeah, think what you like, whatever helps you sleep at night.
