It probably IS a conscience matter (did you try and look it up in the watchtower library?). However, if some would find it questionable, often times its better to err on the side of caution. If no one will ever even see it, then why get one when it could end up stumbling somebody? Thats my opinion, anyways.

Yeah, quite a few of my friends have theirs done and it looks cute. But as you said about the ones that you know, my friends also don't show it off to everyone. I don't have a problem with them.

It's definately up to you. It's not like you're wanting it so that you'll be "sexy" or whatever. Just think about it long and hard before you do it.

Society doens't absolutely condone it(unless yoru showing it off to everyone and their mother) and it is a consicence matter, so it will just take a lot of thought. Want to knwo a secret? well I guess everyone who reads this comment will know, but I thoguth about getting my nipple pierced, LOl...But I strongly doubt I will go through with it.

the way i think about it is, if youre unsure, dont do it. its probably your conscience telling you the right answer (for you) anyway. but of course, no one in the congregation should make a big deal about it so long as it cant be seen right? although to tell you the truth if no one can see it, why risk infections and all that just for the satisfaction of knowing its there yknow?
