My dad was just complaining to my mom that he has to memorize like 40 names for a reading or something. I'm sure that number is exagerated, which is pretty funny. But not as funny as what I'm listening to right now. My dad is in his study sounding out all the names using the Watchtower Library. Has he learned the 'rules' yet? We learned them in pioneer school. Let's seee.....hmm. The syllable that the accent is over of course, will stand out in the name. If the syllable with the accent ends in a vowel, the vowel is long; however, if the syllable with the accent ends in a consonant than the vowel is short. Sumpin like dat.
So, Napolean is gonna be on SNL this next Saturday!!! WOOOOHOOOOO!!! Since I'll be WORKING as usual I'll be taping it.

You're funny. SNL is gonna rock.
Actually the 'rules' are quite simple. I'm just not the best at telling them. I think you can find them in the new Theocratic Ministry School book, although i cannot remember where.

Haha, yeah. My dad had his school last nite and he was supposed to be in the 2nd hall, but he was asked last minute to do it on the main stage, which is funny because I can imagine him panicking. But I heard he did a good job on it. Don't know if he got a round of applause though. I just got back from my service meeting and the brother who went through the reading was just like you said, didn't miss a beat. He was substituting, too. And we also gave him a big round of applause. Ha!

WOW!!!! Did your dad have the bible reading for this week??!!?? I give him snaps for trying! =D My husband and I had a great time reading it. And a few big laughs for all the funny names. Jo'bab was definitely a fave - sounds back woodsy.
