My intro post

Hello, I am Sara. I am a 27 year old, mother of 2 (soon to be 3 in February). I have been married for 10 years, and have been baptised since July 2002. I live in VA. I have recently become homebound, and the elders are working on getting me tied in over the phone and getting my magazines to me. They are also helping me get some phone territory. ( Read more... )

Hi, welcome to our community. Me and Julie (the mods) totally understand about the dangers of the internet and why some people may not feel comfortable in our community, but we try our best to keep this community full of upbuilding and honest servants of jehovah. But we encourage anyone who feels uncomfortable to leave at their will cause we don't wanna make anyone nervous or scared or worried or anything. We have had a few people leave in the past just cause they didn't feel comfortable with an "online jw forum" and that is fine with us. I just like to tell people that voice concerns about such matters that we understand, and we all have concerns about the internet. :)

Well, I won't leave unless I see something truly wrong here... =) Hope that never happens!

27 and married for 10 years? You rock. I got married young too. :) Hi I'm Krista, I'm 19, no kids yet. My hubby isn't in the truth either so we have that in common also. Mind if I add you?

Sure! I don't mind at all. My journal is completely open at the moment, anyway. =) I actually got married 2 months BEFORE I turned 17.

wow! The way I see it, if you want to make it to your 75th wedding anniversary you just HAVE to get married that young! ;)

Well, that's true for most. =) My grandparents made it to their 50th and a little beyond. My parents made it almost to their 27th before my dad died of cancer. My mom's parents have been married 53 years, but my grandma hasn't been herself for the last 10. (Something like Altzheimer's, but it's not)

I'm hoping to make it into the new system without ever dying so we can be happily married forver. =) That's assuming hubby decides to stick with the truth...
