They're tearing down the Berwyn Car Spindle to make room for a Walgreens. Have we no souls anymore?

(If you're unsure what I'm talking about, google it. It's the giant pole of stacked cars that has served as a landmark in Illinois since the 80s. They showed it in Wayne's World if you're confused.)

Nope.. Every available spot must have a Walgreens, Mc Donalds or Starbucks on it.

It's gets better here... They're putting up a new Walgreens.. wait, wait.. 2 or so miles down the street (Whitney Way at Raymond Rd.) from a Walgreens (Whitney Way at Tokay Blvd.) No joke. (We also have the same with 2 Starbucks with-in a half-mile of each other on University Ave)
