I did that. There is a glut upon it of people who think they can get way more for their car than it's worth if only they wait long enough.

And why didn't you tell me when you were in town until after you left? Due to the timing of the visit with my car situation I couldn't have come, but I was disappointed you didn't try.

I was trying to get moving coordinated and it was basically a very stressful time for me. This is why I kept posting in my LJ and asking people to tell me if they wanted to get together. :/

Yeah, I kind of figured. I saw your LJ posts; I just either didn't see or didn't recall the timeframe. Life's just been like that. It just wouldn've been good to see you, that's all.

I asked my dad to check his work's selling/wanted board because sometimes you can find great things on there. Like my car. Of course you may have already gotten a car by the time I posted this. ^^;

Also, I'm kinda looking for large dog friendly rental places (apartment, townhouse, whatever) closer to my work (kentwood) so keep me in mind if you move back out and are looking for a place and wouldn't mind that area. My options open up if I don't have to only look at the cheapest of one bedrooms/studios.

Not quite yet, but soon. I wouldn't mind rooming with you, but I think I would mind rooming in Kentwood. I was looking for something a bit more downtowny. Specifically Eastown. Aren't you in Lansing right now. Or wait...*sigh*. I can never remember this stuff.

Dan and I saw a very nice 2000 Saturn in Holland this weekend. We're only looking to spend $1700 though, and the guy was only willing to come down to $2000.

It ran exceptionally well, new tires, and is owned by a mechanic so the oil changes and everything have been kept up on.

It seems like all dealerships should be having an inventory close out sale any time here. If you're looking for new, that's probably your best bet. :)

Well, I was hoping I could wait for something like that, but since my ride just went hoofy-side up I don't think I can wait any longer. Being car-less in Caledonia is not quite how I envisioned things working out, and I need to change both parts of that equation immediately, if not sooner.
