1) That sucks, though in the case of at least three of my roommates, zombies are a big selling point.

2) Awesome sauce. With so many people in Japan or headed there, maybe I'll have to take a trip sooner than anticipated. Assuming I can stay with my friends, that is. :)

Well, I like zombies, too. Just not looking like one when I'm not trying to. I'm still organizing the paperwork, and I might have additional problems with reference letters. Oh well. I found out I have 'til the 25th. Though I'd prefer to get it all in the can this weekend.

Do you know Mark Ruster? Is that what he did?

If you get accepted, then maybe I'll know two people in Japan, though Dan doesn't fly so we'd have to boat across.

I think I've been asked if I know Mark Ruster a couple of times already, so that has to be what he did. I know who he is, though I'm not sure we've ever spoken. That would be a hell of a boatride. It was a 13-hour flight! Not that I'd try to dissuade you two from going. I really liked it there last time I went. Just watch out for the rainy season.
