I was looking for tab/lyrics to the song "Luster" by The Dambuilders, as I only have it on cassette and my only cassette player is in my car. The first page that came up was my livejournal. Needless to say, I didn't find anything terribly useful.

While doing bicep curls the other night, I realized that I am kind of unique among weightlifters. I say this because a)My workout mix had just segued from Morrissey to Elliott Smith, and b)One reason for the workouts is so I can more easily carry my electric piano to the bar.

So I was somebody's Plan B tonight! It was pretty awesome. I didn't even plan it, nor did I even speak to the woman in question for more than 3 minutes; just standing in the right place at the right time at the bar, I guess. I actually forgot to make a New Year's resolution this year. I've already made a couple in the last few months, though, so I'm not too worried about a lack of self-actualization. I almost didn't make it home tonight after work. After all that rain and then the quick freeze we had, my locks froze completely solid. All of them. I even tried the trunk for posterity's sake. Each day when I've come home from work I've noticed a white SUV parked on my street. Well, partially on my street. Whoever parked it consistently jumps the curb each time, with two wheels and by a lot. I came home today and it wasn't on the street at all.
