Hopefully nobody in the village took them seriously enough to employ a bloodhound. He could smell the dishes, an aromatic cloud of spice.
He couldn't quite bring himself to disapprove, though, not when it made his stomach growl.
"Mister Dresden," he addressed the empty air once the door was shut and deadlocked. "Please, set down the food and unveil."
