Valentine's Day

Feb 14, 2009 23:23

Harry slipped away from his room that evening. He still had one present to give--and he needed to give it before Valentine's was over.

Using a veil was second nature by now. In only a few minutes, he was outside of John's door, rapping on it with his elbow.

As was routine, John checked the hall before letting Harry in.

As was not quite so routine, he reached into the hall, found the invisible body, took a handful of shirt, and dragged him inside, pressing the wizard (and his burden?) against the door.

"I really was hoping you'd come by today," John purred, burying his nose in the crook of a neck he could not see, inhaling the scent of his lover and kissing at the stubbled jaw.

"Oh, I've been planning on coming by for Valentine's for a while," Harry murmured, holding John tight as he unveiled--while trying not to hit him in the back with his gift. "I missed last year; yeah, I know, we weren't together then, but still, I wasn't gonna miss this year."

He pulled back for a moment to gaze at John's face. "God, you look good."

And then he kissed John soundly.

He did look good. In fact, he looked damn good. He had dressed for this one particular visitor-- black, well fitted slacks, a crisp white shirt unbuttoned to the collarbone. His pendants were visible, in slivers, the tags and the horned hand.

"...you're put out because you can't retroactively celebrate Valentines with me." John chuckled and kissed back, passionately, revving up past foreplay and into all-out seduction in five seconds or less.

Harry looked pretty damned good himself, attired as he was in his red and black tux. And as he drank in John's appearance, his eyes lit up like--well, the conventional description would have been "like a kid in a candy store," but that was neither accurate nor true. There was nothing childlike or naive in Harry's expression. He was looking at someone he found handsome, and he wanted the other man very badly.

"I'm just sorry I wasted all that time before I told you," he said in a husky voice before giving John a lustful kiss. "And by the way, I have a present for you. Let me give it to you now. I don't want to hit you in the small of the back with it." His eyes sparkled wickedly. "And I think you'll like it."

He shifted so that he could remain in John's arms while holding the present out to him with one hand.

[OOC: This is the present.]
