A/N: Written for session 1, challenge # 50: If the extended wizard lifespan isn't quite as extended for half-bloods and even less so for muggle-borns, how would this affect mixed couples? As they grow old together, they both know that one will likely outlive the other by several decades...and one may suffer the physical/mental/magical debilitations long before the other.
I realize that life expectancy is likely to go further up as time goes on, but since those things are rather unpredictable, I decided to stick with current figures in this fic. Thanks to cloudlessnights for betaing!
