Obviously Michael Bay must still be thinking this is a Transformers movie, since I don't remember any incarnation of the turtles being like 7ft/2mt tall and have a shell of a galápagos tortoise. And why do they "dress" like they came out of the Amazons

As much as I love Megan Fox, she just doesn't look right. And the turtles kinda scare me, which breaks my heart because they're heroes of mine :( Most kids are gonna be terrified of this movie.

Oh man I have tried so much to like Megan Fox but I can't! I didn't like her in the transformers movies and I can't picture her as April O'Neil.

Megan Fox as April O'Neil confuses me. I feel like there are so many better casting options, but of course it makes sense for a Michael Bay movie. I don't actually watch his movies, but it's easy to gather enough of his aesthetic from trailers.

I liked the first Transformers movie. The second was sort of ok. The third bored me so much I only enjoyed it because I spent the entirety of it making fun of the characters.

I know! What happened to their snouts? What's with those noses?

My guess is that Michael Bay was so bummed that he couldn't make them aliens like he wanted that he compensated by making them as alien-looking as possible. Just to spite the older fans, you know, because the younger generations who don't know the TMNT 'cept maybe in the new Nickelodeon show will probably like this hideous version.
