The boy pulls back, gold eyes reverting to blue. There's a loud crash off-camera and the young man looks sheepish, gathering up bits of a glass vase and looking around for a basket to dump

[Though he doesn't want to freak the guy out, Billy settles on a video post of his own. He smiles and waves slightly at the camera.]

Seems you've just arrived so let me be the first to welcome you to Isola De Sorte. My name's Billy, and I'll be happy to answer any questions for you.

I appreciate it. I guess I just don't understand what I'm doing here. Or. How I got here, for that matter.

But I suppose you wouldn't know any of that either.

It might be nice if someone could explain to me what most of the things in here are for. ...Or how to get food, since my coinage doesn't work.

Well actually... Your world probably got corrupted just like mine. The people here are somehow connected to the corruption and are here to figure out how to fix it. So far, we've just been jerked around by the fates.

Well the food's kinda simple, if you can cook. I'm kinda glad I got the hang of that early enough, because my magicing food hasn't worked at all. As for all the rest, I could always come and show you.

[Merlin looks exhausted, dark bags beneath his eyes. It's not directly obvious whether he's been kept awake by the ongoing storm or something else, but either way his eyes are not focusing properly. The room is dark except for the bluish light coming from the computer screen
