3. Location: Slovenia
4a. Three positive adjectives to describe yourself: Passionate about life, resourceful/creative/imaginative, ambitious, very independent.
4b. Three negative adjectives to describe yourself: Very stubborn, temperamental (I can't stand being held down, bossed around or told what to do; I'm normally calm, but these things bring out the devil), selfish (I like to take care of myself first, then help others).
5. If you could live anywhere in the world for one year, where would you go, and why?: Probably London, or somewhere in Sweden, Norway. I think I'd really like it there, it's nice and cold, and the nature is very beautiful too.
6. Explain the significance/meaning/origin of your username: I'd rather not, it's silly. >.>
7. What's your favourite holiday, and why?: I'd say Halloween (although we don't celebrate it here), because it's spooky, dark, witchcrafty, there are monsters around and you can always trick someone. I just really like the sweet darkness and horror of this holiday.
8. Favourite three books (besides Harry Potter):
Oscar Wilde - The Picture of Dorian Gray - brilliantly written, beautiful style, class. The book is majestic!
Saki (H. H. Munro) - The Stalled Ox And Other Stories - I love Munro's sarcasm, dry witty humor and brilliance!
Edgar Allan Poe's short stories - so spooky and twisted. I love his characters, they are all so dark and creepy and horrible, absolutely amazing writing style and stories.
9. What is or was your favourite and or best subject in school? I really like Psychology and English. I think Psychology is my favorite though, I love it, I love to know more about people, how we think, what connections there are. It's so interesting and can help you a lot in life. Consider it; you know what others are thinking by reading their body language, you know how you can just play them around, if you need them etc. Furthermore, mental disorders are fascinating! It's a wonderful subject and a very useful one at that.
10. If you could ask JKR one question, what would it be? Why did you have to turn Tom Riddle (who was a perfectly good villain) into a sloppy and idiotic Voldemort, who can't kill ONE little boy?
I've never understood that, Tom was so smart, but Voldemort was an idiot. >.>
I'm also incredibly curious about Gellert, what did he do all that time in prison, surely he had some books delivered, like Hannibal for example?
11. Which of the Harry Potter books is your favourite, and why?: I'd say Deathly Hallows, for all the Dumbledore history and depth, but I think I have to go with Goblet of Fire, I found that one the most interesting and somehow the most twisted one of all, I loved it!
12. If you could have the power to perform one spell, and only one spell, absolutely flawlessly for the rest of your life, what would it be and why? Legilimency - I want to get into other people's minds. :P
13. What House do you honestly think you'd end up in, and why?:
Well, I think I'd fit in Slytherin, Ravenclaw or maybe even Gryffindor.
I am often told I am a Slytherclaw, although I also see some lion traits in me a lot of time.
I do think that I would be put into Slytherin.
Maybe just because of my love of the dark arts or because of my ideals, my way of thinking, the things I am interested in.
So ... I can be subtle, but I can also be very impulsive.
I know how to bend and shape my words differently when I have to, pretend. It's definitely better to deceive a little and be on good terms with people, than have useless arguments with them over and over again.
I am ambitious and determined, resourceful, unyielding. I find ways to get things done and I will go over everything to achieve something I really want.
I do think I'd fit in nicely with the Claws, they really value literature, knowledge and wisdom and I think I'd like their company, but I also like adventures from time to time, so it might get a bit dull with the claws.
I am also a bit of a Hufflepuff, because I like helping others (most of the time) and I am also empathetic and a good listener.
And I'd fit in Gryffindor, because I am stubborn, adventurous, idealistic, passionate (about some things, not everything!). But I know I wouldn't appreciate Gryffindor's constant running around, their silliness, brutal honesty and some immaturity (like Ron, Lavender ...), so I am just going to stick with Slytherin, I think I'd meet people like myself there and I think we'd get along very nice, as we're all pretty much independent and loner types.
14. Are you willing to accept cross-gendered votes/stamps?: Definitely, I actually encourage you to vote for a male character, I find it hard to relate to most HP females. They are all so whiny and emotional and none of them actually does something in the books, except have children and get married. >.>
15. Anything else we should know?: Yeah, I dislike a few characters and I'd like to get this out there so you don't vote for them. Or if you do vote for them, please elaborate why.
Draco Malfoy - Nothing pleases him, does it? He is a bloody coward, rude, really full of himself, careless and only complains about things. The general bullyness he's associated with (at least when he is younger) is something I really dislike in people. He thinks he's something, but he's actually a weak, cowardly little boy inside who can't handle a bad situation without crying and running away. Shortly, he has no guts. Another thing is his sucking up to people. One does not suck up to people in such an obvious way. Shesh, you would think he's learned something from his father by now. His mocking isn't very good either. He is bound to make a fool out of himself before he even offends someone. *rolls her eyes*
Ron Weasley - a whiner, sloppy, a rude, lazy boy. He has absolutely no manners. Not to get started on the jealousy and his childish behavior, which really gets on my nerves. He doesn't even realize the truth when it's staring him in the face. I can't stand him, I don't think he understands feelings at all, he doesn't even consider what other people around him might be feeling most of the time. He only thinks about food, girls, food, popularity and did I mention food? It has never occurred to him that there might be something more out there. I don't get him. When he "achieves" something he goes on and on about it, seriously who in their right mind would want to listen to that bragging for days? Alright, we get it, you're proud of yourself and we're happy for you, now can we please move on. And if he doesn't brag, he whines about how he doesn't have any money, how he sucks as a Keeper, how many exams they have, how much he has to study etc. Oh, I feel SO SORRY for the poor boy, he has SUCH a horrible life.
Lavender, Parvati, Romilda Vane and all of those girly-giggly-girls. I can't stand girls who scream and giggle, squee that much, are really emotional and get so worked up over boys. They're overly cheerful, what is incredibly annoying. People like that just make me want to pull my hair out and bang my head against the wall.
Ginny Weasley - She has no backbone, she is like a minor character who got big for some reason, she is too snappy and bitchy for my taste. She is really spineless and annoying. There is nothing interesting about her, she is just bratty and I think it's very low to try and get attention from this one boy, by dating others.
Hermione Granger - she is so up-tight. She has no appreciation for the things that aren't written in the books, therefore she doesn't see what there might be, that you can go beyond that, that there is somehow always more, that you can always improve something, learn from it, connect certain things and get something completely new, shortly she has no creativity/imagination, she just has a good memory. Although I really like that she is so enthralled in learning and is really intelligent, I hate that she gets uber grumpy, if she isn't the best at everything, I also dislike that she gets so stressed if she does something wrong or thinks she did something wrong, she has no confidence and doesn't believe in herself. She just seems shallow and fake to me in a way.
Percy Weasley - god, he's so UPTIGHT, he's so annoying, Hermione seems like an angel next to him. He thinks he's this businessman and wants to be so respectable, but he is forgetting who he really is. He's such an ass-kisser it makes me want to throw up.
And on top of all this he betrays his family. I don't care about the Weasleys at all, but it's very shallow to do what he did.
Another thing about Percy and, this is a BIG one, is that he can't think for himself, he follows blindly. He thinks he's so smart, but he's bloody naive.
Snape - I don't really dislike him, there are just things that I really dislike about him.
Remorse, obsession with Lily. Such a reasonable man, smart, talented, but he let it all go to waste for one woman, for a childish, obsessive love. He could have done something with his life, he was so talented, but he let it pass him by, because he wanted to »make things right«. He relied too much on his feelings and couldn't let it go, start living again. And then he got manipulated and he died such an ironic death he didn't even see coming. Of course he's respected for it after his death, but what did he get out of that? Absolutely nothing, except a bit of comfort before he died. He could have discovered more ways to make a potion, he could have made more spells, he could have achieved something really important, but he spent his whole life teaching kids, for a woman who was dead and never wanted him in the first place. Where is the logic in that!! I know that remorse can do that to you, that you'd give your life to make it right, but he shouldn't have let it, he should have stayed strong. I feel so sorry for him and the way he managed to screw up his life. While I still respect him, I see him as someone really weak-willed and a person too depressed, too apathetic to go on with his life and live it to the fullest, try to leave the past behind.
Another thing I don't like about him is, that he's very unfair and is being such a bastard to Harry, because of the things James did to him, NOT Harry. Sure he doesn't like him, I understand that (to be honest, I wouldn't either), but to get back at James through Harry, that's sick and borders on mental instability.
Cho Chang - overly emotional and PMS-y. She is crying constantly and doesn't even try to get over it and forget about it, move on with her life. That doesn't sound like me. >.>
