It seriously made my heart hurt a little to read that she broke down in Australia. Just further proof of how NOT bitchy she is. A bitchy diva would not get overwhelmed by fans because she wouldn't care about them.

I didn't know she did either until I read the Woman's Health article. It was during the summer before the show came back on after the premiere. It made my heart hurt a little to read.

This was exactly what I imagined happening. Poor Lea. But at least she had Dianna to be there for her. <3

IKR? I'm sure Dianna always takes care of her Lady, especially when her Lady is feeling a little vulnerable. I felt so bad when I read that she broke down in Austrailia. It totally makes me love her more. (And it makes me scoff even more at all the haters.)

I totally agree. The fact that it affects her so much, pretty much proves she cannot be a bitch. And any kind of bitchy behaviour is only a defence mechanism. Haters are going to hate. Pfft.

If she was a bitch, she wouldn't care and it wouldn't affect her. I think it pretty much proves that she cares about the fans. Of course, I also think that anyone who reads this is already going to agree with me, so really, I'm not raising awareness for our lovely Lea's caring heart, and haters are just gonna keep hating. It's ok because we (the true fans) know the truth.

lovely and actually exactly what's been swimming around my mind lately.

what if lea just doesn't like crowds/feels overwhelmed by them? that would explain why she avoided stage dooring, why they seem to have pulled her off a lot of meet & greets since the show came back, why she latches on to people during outings to clubs/bars as well as at formal affairs and why she professes to prefer staying at home (a claim groff has collaborated).

again - great job!

Exactly! I think she just gets a little uncomfortable when there are large crowds right in her face. I know she did stage door some. There's a video floating around of her getting proposed to. And obviously she does the meet and greet for Glee. But you're right, she almost always latches on to somebody; most recently, I'd say it was HeMo at the Funny Girl screening.
