Third Spell

May 13, 2009 11:23

I have two questions.

First, where can I apply for a job? I am feeling rather...useless. I should do more to help those around me.

Second, more of a personal and curious ones...what are your definitions of friendship?

Friendship: An excuse for other people to strongarm you into doing odd jobs for them!

...Quite the negative definition.

Friendship is a sham! Nine times out of ten, when someone becomes friends with someone else, there is an underlying intent to abuse that friendship for personal gain!

You've been hurt in such a way?

There should be job listings available around the apartments. If not, you could always visit different businesses and see if the owners require further assistance. I understand what you mean about needing to be doing something; it is difficult to simply stay put.

Friendship? Friendship... well... I think perhaps true friendship would be a mutual bond with a person (or persons) that you're completely comfortable with and can wholly trust. Someone who will accept both your strengths and weaknesses and help you work through your problems and vice versa. I don't think it's neccessary for friends to get along all the time as long as their differences can be resolved - even if it's agreeing to disagree. Rather, I think a true friend would have to stand in your way sometimes, otherwise you might take a wrong turn. Something like that, maybe.

Of course, finding someone you have complete faith in is probably a rare occurence. A simpler kind of friendship could just be spending time with someone you like being around.

I shall try both suggestions. Thank you.

...Those are very deep meanings. I can admire them.

You're quite welcome.

It's simply what came to mind. I have no recollection of having been in such a relationship myself, so I'm not certain what I've said warrants admiration.

Still, I suppose it's a nice idea and something worth aiming for.

Might I ask why you wanted to know how people view friendship?

Regardless of memories, you can't deny how you feel. You put feeling into those words, and that I admire.

I have recently learned there is a difference between a girlfriend and a girl friend. I was curious how many different kinds of friends there are.

For your first question, I would attempt to start looking for one by leaving the room. I believe it is called being "Proactive."

As for your second, I suppose I would consider a friend anyone you have entered a working relationship with? I suppose if they are not considered an enemy, they must be a friend.

I would think this news would make you happier, seeing as a job would have me gone for hours.

An interesting take.

I am happy. I haven't had cause to be unhappy. Yet.

Is it? How so?

I see.

It nearly sounds like everyone is either friend or enemy to you.

For Mokona, a friend is a person to share happiness with.

What kind of job are you looking for? I looked at a few places when I was finding a job.

Anything. I do not know what my skills are, so I am not really too 'choosy'.
