Subject: Leave of Absense
Hello,
I am an undergraduate student in CNAS, pursuing a BS in General Geosciences.
At the end of this spring quarter (2009), I will have completed all of my
required courses except for one.
The one class I still need to complete is GEO 102 - a course which is not
offered at UCR, and must be completed abroard.
Due to financial reasons, I will be unable to attend the required course
until Summer 2010 (or later).
I will not be taking any classes at UCR after this quarter ends. In other
words, I will not be attending classes at any college/university for a year.
When I do finally attend classes again - it will be at a different
university. I will NOT have attained a degree from UCR until after this
break and abroad course.
What do I need to do to ensure that I am not dismissed from the University
of California, Riverside? Do I need to fill out the form for PELP, PULP, or
some other form? Do I simply do nothing at all (which is what my advisor
told me to do...).
I am very confused, and any clarification will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
-Jennifer Riggle

Seriously...wtf does her reply mean? It didn't answer my questions! Do I need to fill out any of those forms? Did she think the email was asking for me to be dropped from the university (EXACT OPPOSITE!), therefore she didn't even READ my question? My plan is to graduate from this shit hole, not drop out of it! Grrr....
