In Which I Fail. And Also Win. But Mostly Fail.

+Every now and then, my left arm will begin to ache something fierce. My doctor says that it's the leads from Skynet still growing into my muscles, and that yeah, it's going to kill for a few more months. This morning, though, it was so bad I could barely move my shoulder. And so I took three Vicodin before school, thinking that that should get rid ( Read more... )

I have no idea if she'd let me take it again. I don't think so, but I'm probably going to give it a shot anyway. Nothing to lose, right?

(Thanks~)

*HUGS*

So many stressful things, all at once... Let me give you one good advice: never skip your breakfast, and always make sure it's nutritious and well-balanced. I know that to have very small breakfasts is a Western tradition, and people generally don't want to eat much in the morning, but breakfast is your energy battery for the day. There is a Russian saying, "eat your breakfast, share your lunch with a friend and give your dinner to your enemy". And it works.

(Also, thanks to M.D. House, I came to believe that Vicodin, on the contrary, ADDS brain cells. ._. Stereotype=broken.)

Congratulations on your paper being accepted! It sounds so cool, I think your presentation will rock. :)
(And yes, it's better to concentrate on positive thing now.)
Good luck with your Wuthering Heights paper!

*hugs* You are the sweetest.

I should eat breakfast, I really should. If only so I can repeat that awesome saying to everyone I know. ♥

Oh, honey. *hugs, lots of them*

Seconding the suggestion above about talking to your Latin teacher and seeing if you can arrange a retake -- hell, I managed to do that in my Latin class when I overslept and completely missed the exam. You have a much better excuse than I had.

But congratulations on your paper getting accepted! It sounds like an awesome one and I will probably ask you lots of questions about it.

I really do think I should go talk to her. Maybe if I throw myself upon her mercy in Latin...

But yes, yes, ask me a zillion questions whenever! I kind of love this paper. And I will take any opportunity to ramble about monster theory.

My dear. *hugs you* Ow. That is not a fun day.

Thirding the suggestion about speaking to your professor; it can't hurt.

And so many congratulations again. You rock at this, you're going to be brilliant.

I am so excited about this paper I can't even tell you. I've got a lot of editing to do, but it will be such a delight~

I need a "REVISE ALL THE THINGS" icon.

Also agree with asking if you can retake. That is definitely extenuating circumstances.

On a happier note, CONGRATULATIONS!! That is so beyond cool, and the topic sounds fascinating.

I'm going to give it a shot, I think. It can't screw me over any worse than it did.

And thank you so much! It's been a blast to work on, and I think everybody else might think it's pretty interesting too! =D
