You know what's more amazing than the lies we tell each other? The lies we tell ourselves.
I've been doing that for a long time now. I'm not going to be doing it anymore.
And I think this is the first, and hopefully the last, time that I've ever said, "Wow, my mother was right." I'm sure she'll be thrilled.
