I read the story once, and that's enough for me XDD I won't say why because I don't want to provide spoilers ;)

Yeah, I cried a lot while reading too. And then some more. XD

'Gave me a whole different look on war.'

I think what's the most amazing about this story is that it can teach you something, change your view point, maybe even make you better person? It's the only fanfic that made such a huge impact on me. I never liked war (I was worried to start reading the fic because I dislike war movies, they are gross, but once I started reading I just couldn't stop), but after reading The Sweet Hell We Shared I hate hate hate war. The poor boys... I really felt for them.

The fanart is wonderful, isn't it? I think Ayumi Lemura is an amazing artist ♥
