Everything about this story is fucking perfect. So. Fucking. Perfect.

Specifically to this chapter, the perfection includes: Wayne, paragliding in exquisite detail with Ryan actually liking it, going back to the future but with all these new memories and the "wrong" timeline fading away, and of course Ryan's newfound affection for his phone.

I thought I'd be mad when this story ended because I never wanted it to end, but your ending was just so perfect that it doesn't even matter.

Thank you so much. ^_^ And yeah, I liked the idea of ending in a similar place to where we began-in the back lot with Ryan holding his phone-and by comparison seeing the difference in Ryan. I'm so glad you enjoyed it!

It was little more than a soft chuckle, and Ryan could swear his eyes looked a little wetter than usual. Relief was written plainly across his every feature as he rasped out a soft, "It's okay.

"It's okay," he said again, lifting his own hands to wrap them around Ryan's neck. "I was there. I remember."

Ryan's eyes went wide. "You-then-it was not a dream?"

Colin shook his head, smiling a little wider *

Yeah, if I had been better about posting it should have only taken 3, but I got so bad at the end there. ^_^ I hope it was worth the wait! My girlfriend, asuka14, kept saying the same thing about not liking time traveling stories while she was betaing, but also that she was enjoying it, so yay for winning over the skeptics! :D

And well, technically Claire could still exist since I made her not Ryan's biological daughter. That was the part I felt crappy about doing, (reducing a human life to a plot point :P) but otherwise she wouldn't have existed at all after the timeline change.

Yeah, I loved the trying to make each other slip stuff, too. ^_^ I kind of wish I had done more of that, but it was also time for the story to move forward, so maybe it was better I didn't.

I don't think there was a taping directly on April 22nd since it was a Monday, but yeah, they were taping the weekend before and after, so it totally wouldn't make sense for them to be in Washington. But yeah, I figured they'd be living...maybe not in L.A., but closer

I remember hearing about them singing happy birthday to Ryan, but yeah, there wasn't a taping that day. The 9th season had 6 tapings if my memory is correct, 3 on the 19th-21st and 3 on the 26th-28th. They probably sang to him on the one on the 21st? I'm not sure; I attended the ones on the 19th and 20th

Great ending to a perfect story! Ryan begging for another chance after they got back really got to me... beautifully written!
