I'm faced with a really tough problem. David and I got into a fight last night, the first one like this. That's not the problem though. Boys are incredibly lame and dense that way. Peter does this thing when I'm unhappy where he says "Cheer up!", and he still does it even when I've told him how much I HATE IT. It's gotten to the point where I literally have to say, "Okay. This is what I need you to do for me: give me a hug, and tell me that things are going to be okay, and then we can sit on the couch and watch TV." Which is disappointing, to have to ASK for it.

Anyways, to get the focus back on YOU, it's one hundred times harder because you and he are not in the same physical space, and sometimes words are not enough to make you feel better, and even if they are, boys mostly just don't know how. But you're not alone in this frustration with your man.

Also, (while this wordy-ass comment just keeps getting longer), I'm not sure what you're referring to when you say "your problem", but I hope things are okay with you, and if you ever need anything (for example, for me to sing another goofy 80s cartoon-show theme song into your cell phone), you can always call me. :-)

I'm glad I could help, honey. I'm going to be at Linfield tonight (my brother's band is playing at Funk 4 Food), so maybe I'll get to see you! Love you.
