Apparently, I want to burn off all my half-finished kinkmeme fills before the month is up. Or something. This is an odd one, and more pre-slash than slash. Title is swiped from a Slaid Cleaves song.

This story has such a magical, dreamlike quality to it. But there are so many terribly real and painful things in it. Like Eames' relationship with his parents.
And I ADORE how you wrote Mal. Your characterization of her is so perfect and just EXACTLY how I imagine her.
And the way you made it fit into canon is amazing.

Such a lovely story. <3

Thank you <3 Mal is interesting--I don't write her much; so it was interesting to see how her character slotted into this particular story (which I initially thought might by an AU). It's been good to get positive feedback on her, so thanks for that especially.

Beautiful and such an interesting take on the circus. I really enjoy this version of their meeting. ♥

Thank you! I do not know much about living in the circus, so--yeah.

Actually, I don't know anything about living in a circus, except for, like, Water for Elephants.

In that moment, Arthur wondered why he walked away and knew exactly why.

This was gorgeous. I am such a fan of your writing style. And your stories. ♥

Thank you! That line--I labored over that line, and I'm still not sure I'm satisfied with the way the words go together, even if I am satisfied with the sentiment. But--yeah! Thank you!
