Thank you! Writing this was an experiment, to be sure, but I love world-building and was glad to get the chance to do some, and incorporate pieces of 'Inception' into a fantasy-type setting.

I really enjoyed building dreamworking into the AU--I write a lot of AUs, and it's always interesting to see how they can interface with canon--this one definitely more than most. I thought the leeches were ridiculously fun, but then again, I'm always taken with the weirdest parts of my own fics, I think.
did i not come here and flap my hands in glee when i was finished?!?! i may have finished it at work or something. you are so skilled! when people world build, sometimes they get caught up in explaining how things work, but you weave these gorgeous little details in such a dope way. can i say dope? is dope the word i even want? ah well, i'm committing to it. dope.

I was sometimes worried parts of this would get confusing--I think my betas caught those, tho', but I'm glad to hear the end result was something that was neither too confusing nor so heavy on the world building that everything else got overwhelmed. Balance! It's healthy! Especially in your diet. Or whatever, I don't know.
