Well I went for a very little walk, My chalange will be to do more every day I did a bit over a quater mile at a brisk pace. ill add more tmrw its making sure I walk every day and go back to swiminig. I would like to be able to do a mile-mile and a half by the trip

Ne careful in LV hotels...smoking is EVERYWHERE. Really sucks in the restaurants :-(

Las Vegas is desperate for tourists in this economy, so you'll have a good chance of finding a cheap room. It would be even cheaper in the summer, but you still might score a bargain or two. I would suggest one of the older hotels, like The Four Queens.

The ghost towns in the Mohave are COOL! When Adam was a teenager we drove from Sacramento to Santa Fe, NM, and would camp along the way. We had fun going through the ghost towns. If you can, also go to Yosemite. It's GORGEOUS!!!
