I don't know who I feel worse for, Rick or Nick. My heart is freaking bleeding right now. And I wanna whack Griss hard, and hell, even Nick. Look to your right and see what you've got right there. Oh woman, I'm all torn up now.

The sad thing is that I can totally see this. As much of a Warrick/Nick girl that I am, the first CSI pairing I ever read was Gil/Nick and Nick's hero worship was so obvious in the earlier episodes. It's also a possible explanation for Nick's S7 behavior.

But really...ow.

NP. I agree with all that you said. I also started out reading Nick/Gil and while I still enjoy it, I'm pretty much a Nick/Warrick gal. They're just so right for each other.

I'm glad you enjoyed it but I'm going to have to disappoint you. It's meant to be a one shot. My muse and I are barely on speaking terms at the moment. I was lucky to get this much out of her.

Awww . . . that's so sad! I don't think I've ever really read a fic where Nick was turned down! (or Warrick for that matter)

I'm glad you enjoyed it and that it gave you a little something different. Now that you mention it, I can't think of any stories where Nick gets turned down either. I mean seriously, would YOU turn him down? I certainly wouldn't!
