Hear, hear. I drop those stories like a rotten potato, however good they seem.

Yeah, I do write for myself too but I haven't gotten my stories that good that I like them yet. Most I cringe at if I reread them, mostly I don't but if I do I always realize I could have made this or that part so much better.

I'm still amazed that anyone at all reads my scribblings, and actually like them enough to comment. That's just - wow!

But blackmailing the readers? WTF?

I think the only reason one should write is because he/she likes it. I write for my own enjoyment and I'm very much aware that there are loads and loads of better writers out there. Big deal! I'm having fun scribbling down whatever weird stuff my imagination comes up with. And if people comment, that's great, but if they don't it doesn't make me want to write any less.

And blackmailing people by saying they won't post the next chapter? *shakes head*
I really don't understand some people.
