What happened to this community? When I joined two years ago there were plenty of weekly posts and a lot of support from community members in the form of comments and responses to inquiry

I would join the FB group.. i am just not over here much any more.

I'm pretty sure FB has a lot to do with it. I think having a closed/private wls group would be a really great idea. I'm regularly on both FB and LJ, but I haven't been as active in this comm...the farther I get from my own surgery, the less I am 'in the loop' with the early pre- and post-op issues.

livejournal itself is dying :/ it's kind of unfortunate. but i'd be totally down for joining a facebook group if you wind up creating one.

i'd join and creepbait is right. lj itself has become like myspace. it was innovative-several years ago. plus with the note feature on fb people can essentially write journal entries and get comments from people
