What happened to this community? When I joined two years ago there were plenty of weekly posts and a lot of support from community members in the form of comments and responses to inquiry ( Read more... )

I would wish you well. I might even join over there but not under this name.
I am actually more honest here than I am on FB. Too many family and co worker friends up in my busiess.

I don't think I'd join on FB.

For me, FB is for crappy trash items.. (just in my head, mind you) - I don't put anything in there, that is sensitive in nature, or something I'm not willing for EVERYONE to see.
Not so with Livejournal - I agree.. it may be going down; and this community with it.. (And I am sad for that).. LJ has been a good friend to me, and a very safe place for a long time. I appreciate the more thoughtful nature that LJ denotes. (or, at least should!)

I wish you well, and I'll stay on here..

I am here... I still read once in a while... but I NEVER post anymore. When I first joined this community, I loved it! I even had a few friends over on my personal Journal, but I stopped posting because of the negativity. I came to this community for support... and more and more often it was just bitchiness and negativity. MOST member s are nice... but its the occasional narky comment that really ruins it for the bunch. I am going to go friend request you on FB now. Thanks for spearheading this!

I think it was a necessary outlet for many of us.
