So yeah, you'd add up the calories and protien in each part (make sure you march the serving sizes) then divide down to what you consumed... 3-4tablespoons is about 1/4cup... I've never known someone to want you to be that specific though... Was this your surgeon/nutritionalist?
That was super specific! I'd of just told them what you told us.
Sorry that they were being a bit harsh on you!
I get all my protein in via drinks/smoothies/shakes in the am, then anything I consume after that, I consider bonus. My drinks/shakes/whatever give me 60-70 g of protein a day, and by my calculations I'm getting around 75 g of protein on average each day with the food consumption.
I also go through periods where everything is disgusting to me, so on some days I don't get 100% of my protein in. I may only get 1/2 and yes, it's not something you want to get into, but sometimes it is what it is. As long as it's not an on going trend, I think you're fine.
I have the feeling that you're being super regimented and sticking to everything that you've been told to do by your doctors. Please don't let them discourage you!
I'm afraid to be anything other than super regimented.
They told me they didn't know what to expect from my weightloss. They do revisions of lapband to sleeve. However those are people that the lapband didn't work for them - and had BMI's 40 or greater. My BMI is /was 36. She was trying to encourage me to be strict - I think.
