So I guess this is the first real entry in my journal. I still haven't built a "real" client for this machine, and I have to give this laptop back to its owner in a few weeks anyway. I want to buy myself a Fujitsu Lifebook S2000... but me blathering on about this shit only proves how drunk I am

Well. I read it and think it's a fine first real post.
My first real post, if you can call any of them real, took me almost 8 months to actually write :) didn't take to the whole wasting-my-time-on-idle-crap thing.

I realized how wrong I was eventually. wasting my time is important.

Like figuring out how to get this USB mouse to work with this computer under debian GNU/linux even tho I'm only going to be here for three days....

Or bothering to figure out what is the maximum amount of boost I can run in my '87 5kcstqa before heat and other factors overcome the advantage of running more boost with the stock turbo...
Or figuring out how much power the power amp that we're currently using to run the PA in my basement "recording studio" puts out, when said item doesn't even belong to us...

and stuff...

I love wasting time. Who am I kidding?
