When I got my first vehicle, my dad told me one of my tires was looking a little low and that I should go fill it up. He offered to tag along and we drove up to the gas station. Once we got there, he ran inside to get a pack of cigarettes while I was filling the tire up. Being a naive 16 year old I thought the machine would turn off on it's own, but apparently not. My dad ran out screaming, "Are you trying to blow your damn tire up” in front of an old lady pumping gas and the middle eastern station attendant. Ever since I've always had the mechanics check it when I get an oil change.
