Is it true that when you work out, your body releases some crap that makes you happy? I don't know for sure, but I know that's what Reese Witherspoon said in Legally Blonde, and I would consider her to be an expert. Your body releases both endorphines and adrenalin when you work out.

Endorphines are natural pain killers that act on the same parts of the brain as morphine and heroin. In fact, that's where the name comes from: endogenous morphine.

Adrenaline is a natural stimulant that basically has the same effect as speed: increased heart rate, dialated cappilaries, increase norepinephrine levels in the brain.

So, basically, when you're working out, it's like doing heroin and crystal at the same time.... only, you know.... much much much much less intense. LOL
