So, yeah, my car is totaled. Damage to the engine would cost $4,700 to repair, and the car is only worth about $4,300. So, looks like I will be driving my dad's jeep from now on, and he will be getting a new car (he was about ready to get one anyhow). Well, I've started Training at Sears, and classes began today. At work, I've been training on the computer, which should all together take 20 hours. WOO HOO! How exciting. So this has been a productive week so far. On Monday, I started to look for jobs. I filled out an app at FedEx to be a package handler, and I got a bunch of apps from other stores. Then, that night, I filed online apps for Circut City, Best Buy, and Sears. Sears apparently has you set up a little interview, so they can go over your application ( Read more... )

Well, I'm all moved in to my apartment now, for good. Leann arrives on Wednesday to move all her stuff in, so I have a few days now to relax and look for a job (if those two activities can co-exist). Well, I'm back from Colorado. We had a fun vacation, much more enjoyable than I thought it was going to be. We hiked, white water rafted, shopped, explored towns, drove alot, and generally relaxed.
