Versailles Concert in Szene Vienna 9th of October 2011
On Sunday morning I and two of my friends boarded a train to Vienna. We arrived to Vienna at 2 o'clock in the afternoon (and were attraction on a train when we started to change and putting on make up in our coupe). Arrived to Szene club around 3 o'clock (got a bit disorientated on our way from underground station to the venue) and in front of the club were quite some fans from Austria, Hungary and Italy.

We lined up and while I was doing my nails a staff member came out trough back door that was near us (band was having a rehearsal at the time). He was French and very nice (he promised me Teru's pick if I'd go to Poland concert, since the Japanese staff member I asked if I could have one, was busy after the show and we had to leave before everything was over) soon a Japanese English staff member followed and he asked Maya who was eating an apple that time if he can have a bite and she was yeah sure, but he only wanted to see her reaction on that question and then the rest of us caught up on what he was referring to xD.
The line was soon ruined since fans stared to push forward (usually that only starts around 2 hours before doors open), but this is really the fault of people who organized the even since there were no safety railing or anything to some how "force" fans to line up. Doors supposed to open at 7 o'clock but opened around 7.30 or even later. The concert started about 45 minutes later than originally scheduled.
Before I start writing about the live you need to know and keep one thing in your head, this is a SHOW not just a rock concert, not only because of their outfits but the way live performance is build (dancing, acting,...).

When lights finally went out and stage lights lit, the Masquerade started and Yuki was the first to come out, he walked to the middle of the stage and bowed, before going to sit behind the drum kit (we were standing in the second/third row right under the middle of the stage). When the sound of bass drum filled the venue I felt how adrenaline and euphoria were spreading tough my body and all the tiredness I felt before just vanished.
Masashi was next to come out and like Yuki he came to the middle of the stage, before moving to his place. Teru was next in his reviling outfit flashing his thighs and tummy, followed by Hizaki, who moves really elegant and feminine. Last was Kamijo, and it shows he is close to Gackt since the way he walks and performance in general is very confident on moments even a bit cocky but he makes it work.
The energy was really good and fans were really into the live, Kamijo's voice sounds really good live; powerful and emotional (he's vocal is not something I would usually choose to listen). Kamijo is very elegant on stage (like I said before it's a whole show), the way he walks and moves his hands, with "vampire" like elegance. One thing I noticed was that his eyes are really teasing, he ran his tongue over his lips constantly, firing us up even more.
Teru and Hizaki are amazing guitar players and to be able to see them play live was amazing (they are really skilled and they way their fingers dance across the guitar strings is breath taking). Hizaki is very elegant when playing. Teru on the other side is less feminine but still amazing guitar player. Both Teru and Hizaki moved around, changing their position or playing side by side and back to bed on the middle and it's amazing seeing two amazing guitarist playing.
Masashi came to the front a lot as well and all four of them were dancing and spinning a lot during the live. Yuki's drumming was amazing as well and he cheered us from behind his drums, standing up whenever possible.
The energy on and off stage was really high. During first MC/greeting Kamijo thanked up for coming and said he was really happy to be back in Vienna with Versailles. During the live he had another MC where he read something in English (written in Katakana, and I didn't actually caught everything he said). There were few small MC's where he only said a sentence or two before the next song (sometimes even in Japanese). He asked Hizaki to dance with him, during the intro into Vampire he was screaming 'I suck your...' before adding blood at the end.
There was some fanservice of course. Aside from Teru and Hizaki and Masashi leaning against each other while playing, Kamijo wrapped an arm around Hizaki several times and he wrapped an arm around Teru during Vampire, ran a finger along Teru's neck before turning his head towards his and leaning slightly closer (no kiss tho). When we called them out for second encore and Hizaki was standing on the small platform on his side the stage (Teru had one too, and fans standing under platforms were able to touch them. That was the only bad thing of being in the middle, I wasn't able to touch Teru's thighs or perhaps it's better this way ... xD) and Teru came up behind him wrapping his arms around Hizaki's middle and leaning his head on Hizaki's shoulder, it was really cute <3.
They all had two plastic roses and lifted them in the air in memory of Jasmine You (once during the main live and second before the Revenant Choir where at the end Kamijo felt to his knees and I think his eyes were a bit moist (Kamijo and Hizaki threw theirs into the crowd) and before Love Will Be Born again members apart from Kamijo left the stage and he sang the song alone. It was really powerful and emotional.
Hizaki, Teru and Masshi threw their picks into the crowd (Teru threw his in all other direction but the middle, I really wanted one). One of Hizaki's picks got caught somewhere on my skirt and when I ran my hands down it felt to the ground and bunch of fans bowed down along with me to find it, I didn't find it. Yuki threw his drumstick into the crowd as well, bottles of water and Teru's and Masashi's towels as well (again Teru threw that towel all wrong xD).
I think the kindest thing happened during the live when Hizaki after he stopped drinking saw a girl in front row nearly dehydrated and gave her his water since the security there was blind apparently and didn't see it, after Hizaki pointed to the girl security after, giving her some water started giving water around to other fans as well.
When the last song was nearing to the end, guitar were lifted and last notes played and instruments puts away Teru and Hizaki went to each platform and let fans touch them (tho only hands this time, since before Teru always had to pull up the white thing he has around his boots. I would still totally have those boots, so awesome), Masashi came to the front, lifted his bass and kissed it. Yuki also came o the front to throw drum sticks to the crowd. Kamijo was very teasing trough the whole live, he stretched out his hands but never enough for fans to touch him (he only jumped off stage once after the main live was over to take the banner fans had in the front row).
After the live was over, we had to wait for about half an hour for meet&greet. I was able to talk to my "sister" I meet during Girugamesh live and was really looking forward of seeing her again.
Meet&great was really nice, just to be able to shake hands with your idol is amazing. All I can say is that they all have very soft hands and it's not just hurried hand shake but an actual hand shake with greeting. Standing close to them I noticed Yuki and Masashi have really handsome features (strong and manly) and Hizaki is really beuatiful (dressed as woman, and funny fact his fake boobs are bigger than most female Japanese xD). Kamijo is well, even with make up it's obvious he's not in his twenties any more but still handsome and Teru well his hands were soft and warm and I couldn't wait to shake his hand and he has really nice deep voice *melts* (and it all got better today after talking with yoroshikubitch and she said:' He probably masturbates with that hand so you still win' . When I said I wasn't able to touch his thigh which is probably good since he came really close and even fans who aren't as tall as me were able to touch his thighs god knows what inappropriate thing I would do xD).
And because the pervy person I am, but really it's all Yuki's fault because he wears too tight pants and his crotch was visible when he came to the front the first time, I spent half of the gig watching not their faces but their crotches and even during meet&greet I just had to look down xD.
Poster I bought and my ticket (the outfits they wore were slightly different; Teru wore shorts, Kamijo had a red cape instead of the white coat and Hizaki wore the white dress) . I wish I'd get Teru's pick...
I'm really happy I decided to go to this concert because it was amazing performance. Special thank you to Maya and Katarina for going with me on this "road trip" despite 6 hours long train ride to one way and cold night spent on train station xD, we should to this again sometimes xD. And my dear sister from another country, it was great seeing you again and I really hope we'll see each other again soon (just realized I make friends either on live or drinking xD) since now concert aren't just for pleasure but an excuse to see friends made there <3.
