Yuck. I have a cold. I haven't been sick in a over a year and a half. It was a good run. Tim's been sick three times since the last time I got sick and I never caught it from him. This sucks

Johnny Damon will have to shave and cut his hair. It's required. My whole thing with the Yankees getting Bernie Williams is that it's funny how Bernie Williams taught the Yankees nothing.

I think it's the cessation of stress that allows the illness to set in. Kind of like, your body knew it "needed" to get sick, but there wasn't time or resources to deal with it. So it waited until there was. I know that doesn't make any medical sense, but I see it over and over again - people have a big exam, or get through school, or through a difficult time at work, or turn in all their applications . . . and they get sick.
