Overall, I'd have to say J-Camp was pretty amazing. Except now that I think about it, I didn't really learn anything. I met countless famous journalists and politicians, I got tested every morning on the Washington Post, but I didn't really learn learn anything. Hmph... wait! I learned that the most important aspect of journalism is connections.

Call it back-to-school shopping. We'll acknowledge you have a problem in September...when its near your birthday and then you can use that as an excuse. Dahling we must see each other before summer is over you best be callin me!

Because lounging about sucks. It's boring as hell. So, in order to make up for that and to get us off the streets our country has instituted a law that says every child must attend school until a certain age. The theory is that by attending school we'll all come out intelligent and abled so that we can innovate and invent and push our country past its competitors.

Some theories just dont pan out though. Everyone remembers great names like Shakespeare and Newton and Euler and Plato etc. but how many great minds do we have today? Hawking? Back when school was optional we find more people to remember.
