Domesticity
Zhou Mi/Kyuhyun, Fluff, G, 228 words, Archive

A/N: A measly peasly fluff drabble that I wrote for Jen on her birthday a couple days ago. We celebrate in simple style~

It was without much ado that Zhou Mi decided to prepare breakfast on his own.

Nothing fancy, nothing grandiose with fanfare and sky raining confetti. Rice with a side of kimchi radishes, a vegetable omelet, and seasoned tofu cubes aren't anything to call home about.

"What are you doing?" Kyuhyun yawns, coming out of his bedroom with feet dragging slow across the hardwood floor. He glances around sleepily. "Where's Ryeowook?"

"Oh, Kui Xian, you're up. Ryeowook went to an early recording," Zhou Mi says, bringing the plates over to dining table.

"You can cook Korean food?"

Zhou Mi smiles, "I learned how before we met. I just hadn't had the chance to make it for anyone."

"It tastes good," Kyuhyun says, still chewing some of the omelet. Saying Zhou Mi feels glad is an understatement. "Am I the first one to try your cooking?"

"No," Zhou Mi begins, "Well, you're the first one of all of... us." He smiles again.

"Oh," Kyuhyun says, stuffing his mouth with a little bit of everything before adding, "You should cook more. For me."

Now, Zhou Mi can't help his mouth forming a grin. "Whenever you want. Just ask!"

And when Kyuhyun smiles back, it's nothing fancy. It's not trumpets and fireworks. But, it is rice, with a side of kimchi radishes, a vegetable omelet, and seasoned tofu cubes.

Without much ado.

I know this wasn't much, but... "It's not the length. It's how you use it." 8)
