Huh, I remember being in Kyoto during cherry blossom season in... 2006, I think, and it started snowing. The snow didn't stick on the ground, though -- just a brief spell of snow flurries. I wonder if I took any pictures...
I guess it's good that the trees will bloom longer, but who wants to have a hanami party when it's cold out? Here in the UK the weather has mainly gone back and forth between cloudy and rainy and cloudy and rainy, and then it snowed a bit last week. Some daffodils have finally started blooming, but it doesn't really feel all that spring-like yet...

Honestly speaking, I like watching blooming cherry trees but outdoor hanami-party is always cold even in Tokyo and I don't like it. Haha! :D
