hello there... i am taking beginers arabic. my prof is tunisian, so we are working with that sort of dialect. our book is egyptian arabic though, he tries to show the difference and such. when i was a child my father taught me arabic, but needless to say i have not kept it up. hopefully i will be fabulous when finished with this class. where are you from again?
Which book are you using? I might have used it before. I am straight-up American, no Arabic blood in me. I just have been studying Arabic for a while now in the US and in Cairo, so I learned Standard Arabic and Egyptian. I'm sure all your Arabic will come back to you soon enough. :-)
hey there..sorry , my computer is just about ot die so sad... ok... i started off with "alif baa intro to arabic letters and sounds" by brustad/al-batal/al-tonsi... and now i am working with "al-kitaab text for beginning arabic part one" by the same peole.. what got you interested in arabic? and you taught yourself? impressive!
