I picked 2, but I've a huge monitor and not many people have those. Also, posting to the legacy challenge community, you'll need to use the smaller picture.

I'd say the first image size you use when advertising in communities, but use the second size for the actual post :)

I agree with the two comments above me. One should be for community posts and two should be for your actual challenge posts. Slower internets might not take kindly to two though.
