Air Evac Medics, often having a tendency toward exibiting a certain ... style ... of doing things, having once-upon-a-time been in those shoes, er, combat boots, I was highly amused with this picture from Iraq of a Medic speeding across the tarmac to his Blackhawk .... on a freakin Push-Scooter

That is a really funny photo.

My dream is to be a paramedic (not in the military though!). To be an air medic would be amazing.

My youngest brother is in the military. And I miss him.

what about a segway?

well, the push-scooter is small, light and collapsible, ya see. you can just fold it up and toss it into the aircraft or other emergency vehicle.

Segway would be interesting though .... fit it with clamping devices on its frame and utilize 2 or 4 of them to transport a patient on a stretcher or gurney
