Hey! I am still alive, and I still do drawings. These are a couple. The first one was totally inspired by a card my friend Kami sent me years ago. Both are for San Francisco based singer/songwriter Aidan Hawken.
Also, both are rough drafts!

Are you kidding I love that thing! I was on my bulletin board for at least a year. It's still packed from when I bought the house though. I gotta get it out again. I didn't even realize it was a homage until Danelle pointed it out in a sketch version, then I just kinda ran with it from memory.

I would say the second one is closer. He actually backed away from the tigerface. I am not sure if that one will get made. Although if he doesn't use it I would probably use it for something else cause I adore it. The second one was driven out after I did several shirt designs and he offered up the fact that he loves those cameras.

I think I love the second one more too. It's a little more striking and cerebral then the tiger. If I do a final of it I may add hands but I am kinda torn on that cause I love how simple it is now.

the kitty/tiger is cute, but it is more sticker material than anything else.
