Too bad that Hampson had to cancel :-( Although, I do love these dramatic things - it only happens with opera, right?

Well it definitely does. But did it have to happen on my night at the opera? Mr. H. really owes me a drink now. Hmpf. Or a session. Or something. I just need to find a way to communicate with him. ;-)
I did wonder if they made the Gotthard story up to divert the audience's attention, but apparently it really happened like that.
