so guido gave a great idea for a destination................Grand Lake St. Mary's. It is $24.00 a nite for a campsite, and you can have a max of 6 people per site. There is canoeing and beaches to swim at and showers and all that good junk. it is close to the indiana border and is a 3 1/2 hour carride. the address is 834 edgewater dr. st. marys, ( Read more... )

negatory. you cant have alcohol there. we were gonna go there for spring break but ended up in kentucky for the obvious reason

whelp- i was online searching for destinations for 2 hours this morning, and it turns out that the KOA we stayed at last year is now under new owners, and they are really cleaning up the place. so now i am guessing it is not convenient for us to drink anywhere...

my tall friend evab (from the rib cook-off) knows a good place him and his friends have been going to for years. he says they go there during the summers and the whole alcohol thing is never a problem. he's gotta find the name of it, but once he does i'll let ya know...just to get another place in the works.

hey guys-- just a thing about the dates-- did everyone realize that the fest is that sunday and then twins day is that weekend-- haha i dont' think twinsday effects anyone else but the fest does-- to throw that out there-- and last time we went wed, thurs, friday because on fridays the cost of campsites usually increases b/c its a weekend-- and we went a week later-- so no we are not going at the same time as last year like ya'll think-- so r these dates set in stone?? or are they negotiable still??

fuck the fest. its really quite overrated. and yes im sure most people realize it was a week later but this just so happens to work. and being the cheap poor frat boy that i am, im sure a few extra bucks wont hurt so that it can be on a weekend

the FEST is definitely that sunday, but if we are getting back saturday afternoon then it shouldnt be a problem. i originally wanted to go wed, thur, fri too- but TRI-C has finals that week and it seemed like people wanted to go more towards the weekend, so it thurs, fri, sat worked better. the difference in rates is actually only a few dollars more. i know it's not the exact same dates as last year- but we were just talking the beginning of august. i'm gonna make some calls and post a list of all the people who agree on those dates, and then i guess we'll see how many people that is and go from there...

ps- i thought you didn't want to go on a wed, thurs, fri cuz you can't take off more than 2 days during the week for work????
