I am home from NOLA, which I love hugely. I love less the amount of work waiting for me and the head cold that followed me home, but I am happy to have made it to 2012 feeling like good things are in store. I hope they are for you, too.

I am in gorgeous NOLA, and spent the AM revisiting old haunts (including Lee's, in Metarie, for some of the best hamburgers in life, oh my god).

It took forever, but my house is finally decorated, and cards are about halfway done, and I am curled up on the couch with good smells and warm dogs. Happy first night of Hanukah to all who celebrate!
