Well, as most of you know, I currently work at the Alliance for Justice, which, among other things, works to maintian a fair and independent judiciary. As part of that mission, we try to educate the public on the way the judiciary affects their daily lives (this is a part of our work we're trying to expand right now). Well, it makes sense to me, all except for the part where the guy didn't just send the books back if he didn't want them.

YAY! i make sense. whoo!

from what i gathered, it seemed as if the book people told him that he could not return the books and had to pay for them or they would report him to collection agencies. apparently other bullying tactics were involved as well. nice people.

Hmm, that seems like a bluff to me. I hope he reported them to the Better Business Bureau, at least.
