Well, it makes sense to me, all except for the part where the guy didn't just send the books back if he didn't want them.

from what i gathered, it seemed as if the book people told him that he could not return the books and had to pay for them or they would report him to collection agencies. apparently other bullying tactics were involved as well. nice people.

Hmm, that seems like a bluff to me. I hope he reported them to the Better Business Bureau, at least.

well, i'm sure it was a bluff... would have to read all the facts to figure out exactly what happened...
