I've been back from spring "break" for several days now, but I haven't gotten around to posting until now because... Well, because I didn't feel like it. It's a Live Journal entry; do I really need another excuse?

I had a great long weekend at home before I went on choir tour. Tim, Vicky, and I saw Be Kind Rewind, my first 10/10 movie for the ( Read more... )

I'm always up for getting together. Just let me know well in advance so that I can get the bulk of my paper done beforehand.

Well, if something happened, it would be this weekend, most likely Saturday afternoon and/or evening.

Dude, isn't Fables the shit? I've got up through volume seven, and believe me, it gets way better. Willingham's writing is ridiculously perfect and Buckingham's artwork is beautifully detailed. I just flood the room with piss every time I think about it.

It's fantastic. I look forward to reading five, six, and seven this weekend. While I'm talking to you about this weekend, let me know if it's possible for you guys to get a ride to the concert on Friday. If not, Bobbie reluctantly agreed to let me take the car, but I understand her concerns about it and I'm trying to cut down on its use as much as possible.

I'll talk to John next time I'm in Blockbuster. I'm sure he can find a ride, or we can take the bus up. And the show is on Sunday.

It could be considered selfishness, but I don't know if Nirvana can be attained by the general populace.

If I have somehow reached the level of enlightenment, then may it be fruitless to attempt to educate the masses, considering in our short existance, how many people have discovered ultimate, clear truth.

I think it would be perfectlty fine keep your discovery. Not indulge the masses.

True enough. It was just a silly sign-off statment, though, not a theological one.

It's good to hear from you, man. Been missing you more than a capitalist misses money.

Ha ha, indeed, but, to be coy; a capitalist wouldn't miss money, because he would first have to be devoid of it... And noone who is broke is a capitalist.

I retract that statement, immediately after saying it.
Many people will waste their entire lives seeking happiness through money because they have none, but really are just blinded to step one to real happiness... Which is not having money.

But hell, you paid for them, wear them.

Nice.

Dude, I'm sure D&D was great, and like I said, I completely understand your choice, but boy did you miss a kick-ass show last night. Some pissy edge-of-the-pit bitch kicked me in the nuts with, unless something happened that I didn't notice, no provocation, and even that was not enough to dampen my mood. Great show, and I liked all the bands (except Stillframe Sky- they kind of blow). The new A.K.A.s album is fantastic; I'll have to burn you a copy. If you're in town this weekend, drop by.
