Back Out of the Groove

Well, now that Ed has woken me up with a demand request for some unspecified from of help tomorrow, I guess I'm up. When I'm done with this entry, I'll be working on lesson plans. It feels a little weird to be back in this routine (both the lesson planning and the three AM texts from Ed ( Read more... )

Still trying to figure out how to handle 7th Sea. Penguin's work schedule is the major issue at present, because she works until ten on Friday nights, so we can't play then. Vicky has a pre-existing D&D commitment on Saturdays (as far as I know, anyway) so we can't play then. You can't play on Sunday or any week day. The ONLY thing I can come up with so far is to try to start as early as possible on Sundays, so that you can be home in time to go to bed at whatever time.

Also, you didn't miss anything this week, as Vicky had some kind of food poisoning and we didn't play.

Good luck with the brats! I don't envy you the challenge. I'll be over here, contemplating my professional future.

Yeah, we'll have to figure something out. I'm okay with trying for early Sundays, but I also have church and such. This Sunday is Tim's birthday, though, so it would be out. Sorry about my schedule making it so difficult. Another option, if Vicky's D&D commitment is the only Saturday obstacle, would be to play earlier during the day then, since her group plays starting around nine, if I remember correctly.

The problem with playing earlier on Saturdays is that Penguin works from (I think) 8:30 am to 5:00 pm on Saturdays. So the earliest we could start would be 5:30.

I would say that we could play this upcoming Monday, since it's Labor Day, but I have no idea if you have to work (I'm pretty sure kids have the day off?) and I already made family plans. Ah, well. Wish Tim a happy birthday for me.
